Ashley Smith is a Denver based hairstylist, makeup artist, and educator with a passion for creating beautiful hair, elevated experiences and sharing her craft.

A Colorado native whose career has taken her from New York City to Los Angeles and back home to Denver. Ashley brings a unique perspective to her work, blending her experience in fashion, editorial, and commercial beauty with the personal connection she values in her work behind the chair.

Today, Ashley welcomes clients into her private studio in Denver’s Cherry Creek North neighborhood, specializing in dimensional color, modern haircuts and textured hair. She also works with brides, creative teams, and production companies throughout Colorado and beyond. She provides hair and makeup artistry services for weddings, special events, editorial projects, and commercial projects.

Ashley’s career has included leading hair and makeup teams for New York Fashion Week, and some of her previous clients include Vogue, Project Runway, Target, Audi, and Pepsi.

As a former Regional Educator for L’oreal Professionnel, Ashley spent years inspiring hairstylists and salon teams across the country. Her passion for education continues through Ashley Smith Atelier, a boutique education experience dedicated to modern hairdressing, creativity and technical mastery.

Whether behind the chair, styling a bride, working on set, or educating fellow artists, Ashley brings the same thoughtful approach to her craft, combining artistry, technical expertise, and genuine connection.
